Privacy Policy
MyPanda is designed for parents and caregivers to track baby care activity. It is provided by the developer. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
1. Data We Collect
- Account data: name, email, user ID, sign-in provider.
- Family data: family name, invite code, family members.
- Baby profile data: baby name, date of birth, gender, optional photo.
- Activity data: feeding, diaper, sleep, pumping, weight logs, timestamps, notes.
- App data: settings (such as preferred units), onboarding status, optional feedback.
- Optional device data: push notification token (if notifications are enabled).
2. Voice and AI Processing
- Voice logging uses device/OS speech recognition services.
- Transcript text may be sent to OpenAI to convert speech into structured baby activity logs.
3. Where Data Is Stored
We use service providers including Firebase Authentication, Firestore, and Cloud Storage to run the App. If you use Google/Apple sign-in, those providers process sign-in data.
4. How We Use Data
- Provide core app features.
- Sync family activity logs.
- Support account access and reliability.
- Improve app quality and support.
5. Sharing
- Data is shared with members of your in-app family group.
- We share data with infrastructure providers only as needed to operate the App.
- We do not sell personal data.
6. Retention
We keep data while your account is active, or as needed for legal, compliance, and operational reasons.
7. Account Deletion
You can delete your account and associated data in either of these ways:
- In the app, go to the Settings page and use the account deletion option.
- Email abhijit.93@hotmail.com with the subject line Account Deletion Request if you want us to delete your account and associated data for you.
8. Children
The App is intended for use by parents and caregivers, not by children directly.
9. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is fully secure.
